To receive traffic information on your Garmin unit, you need a traffic receiver and antenna to send traffic information to your navigator. Many models comes with traffic receiver in the box. This one is another number, it's NOT nuvi ID, you can find it only when nuvi is connected to TMC receivers. Go to menu Tools, Settings, Traffic, Subscriptions, Add and see message containing your TMC receiver ID.Each subscription has its FID, PID, RgnID an VenID, similarly to Garmin map product. All known subscription ID are gathered at the end of this post. Both values, TMC ID and subscription ID can be used to generate unlock code. Use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for creating unlock codes.Start keygen, insert TMC ID into field 'Enter your Unit ID here' then go to Select Map Product and choose Custom Mapset. In Custom Mapset window check Enable additional fields and fill all 4 values for FID, PID, RgnID, VenID.You need to manually write the unlock code to TMC receiver in the same menu you used to find TMC receiver ID.AustraliaGarmin Nuvi Manual

USE THIS TOOL ONLY TO EXTEND EXPIRING SUBSCRIPTIONS:[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]Note: All traffic Subscriptions are Lifetime for the receiver. Some have an end date because they were purchased for a pre-defined period. If so, the expiry date can be extended using the app & JM kg especially modified for that sole purpose.
How to use:
- Run the 'jmgkg13modTMCExp.exe'
- Enter traffic receiver id.
- Select custom map id
- In 'Select Map Product' field, select 'Custom Mapset'. Open 'Garmin_Week_calculator_TMC_MOD.XLS'. Type number in 'Enter Week Number'. 'Real Last working Day' field will give you the date when your new subscription would expire. Type 'Enter week number' in kg.
- Use generated number in your GPS to extend your subscription.

Apparently this only works if you have an expired sub for TTN in your receiver already.
Before applying it check the code you get with the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] program to verify that it is for FID 28992 and expires about 50 years from now.
